A Child forensic psychiatrist and social scientist Sue has used her clinical experience and knowledge to bring an evidence base to shape health, social, education and justice policy nationally and internationally.

Holding past roles as President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal colleges, Mental Health Advisor to Health Education England and Chair of the Children and Young People's Mental Health Coalition Currently President of the UEMS CAP section and Chair of the Centre for Mental Health Sue believes strongly in the imperative for our profession to play a pivotal role in eradicating mental health inequalities
