SCHOLARSHIPS ESCAP 2022

For the ESCAP Congress of 2022 at Maastricht, residents in psychiatry are given the opportunity to opt a scholarship for the congress. A total of 10 scholarships are available for the Maastricht congress. The scholarship includes free access to the congress, so you do not have to pay the congress fee for participating.

By making scholarships available for young professionals, we hope to contribute to your career in the field of psychiatry. Please make sure you meet all the requirements in order to apply for the scholarship.

We realize that the current COVID-19 situation means that making plans for attending the in-person ESCAP congress is difficult. Therefore, we want to assure you that although we strive for a full in-person meeting, we will organize the ESCAP congress in a way that is appropriate to the COVID-19 situation.

The scholarships for the ESCAP congress of 2022 in Maastricht are made possible by the support of the Child- and Adolescent Psychiatry Department of the Dutch Association for Psychiatry (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Psychiatrie, NVvP).

ESCAP Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship you:

  • Are a resident in Psychiatry AND
  • Are a resident of one of the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania,  Belorussia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Moldavia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic.
  • Submit an abstract for the ESCAP conference
  • Participate to the entire congress

How to apply?

Applications can be submitted to the ESCAP 2022 committee until 17th of January by sending an email to:

Around 6th of February the selection committee reacts on your application.

 

Your application should consist of:

  1. A short letter of motivation
    Describe how attending ESCAP 2022 would help you in your career and your short and long term goals regarding your career in the child and adolescent psychiatry. 
  2. Your curriculum vitae (CV) including:
    - First name(s)
    - Surname
    - Address
    - E-mail
    - Nationality
    - Current location of Psychiatry residency education
    - Educational background
  3. The abstract you have submitted to the ESCAP congress 2022 (https://www.escap2022.eu/submission/)
