She is a child psychiatrist from Belgrade, Serbia, employed at the Faculty of Medicine, University in Belgrade, as a professor at the Department of Psychiatry, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate studies. He has been organizing elective classes in the undergraduate studies of Child Abuse and Neglect since 2012, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorders since 2017. She is working at Institute of Mental Health, Belgrade. In the period from 2010-2018, she was the President of the Special Working Group within the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia for the implementation of the Special Protocol of the Health Care System for the Protection of Children from Abuse and Neglect. From 2017, she continues to lead the Special Working Group for Assistance and Support to Children and Families of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia. As part of that activity, she led the development of Guidelines for screening, diagnosis and therapy of children with autism spectrum disorders. She cooperates with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, as well as UNICEF, the Center for the Rights of the Child of Serbia and others. She is currently the president of the Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Related Professions of Serbia (DEAPS) and the member of ESCAP Board.
